ITApps Limited announced today that it has teamed with a stock price datafeed service provider, one of the authorized securities information vendors of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited Information Services Limited, to win a contract from Wing Lung Bank to provide a stock quote hosting service.
The contract includes an expansion of Wing Lung's existing Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), which ITApps originally provided. The new stock quote services is hosted by ITApps and based on the same platform to ensure total compatibility and smooth integration with the end-to-end call flow. The business expansion enables Wing Lung to accommodate the continuing growth of its call volume for Stock Price Enquiry, while eliminating cost of ownership in terms of system upgrade and infrastructure investment.
The new hosted IVR supports three languages, Cantonese, English, and Putonghua, enabling Wing Lung customers to have real-time stock quotes that include current bid, ask, and nominal information broadcasted upon request during trading hours. Closing prices will be broadcast after market close.
As the IVRS and all database servers are hosted by ITApps and the datafeed service provider, who are responsible for monitoring all applications closely, Wing Lung can concentrate on its core business.
